Thought of the Day: Russia and EVs (Nikki, March 27, 2014)

Nikki responds to Mark’s Thoughts from yesterday on website feedback and wonders if the current political situation in Russia will impact the adoption rate of EVs.

Unlike our other shows, Thought of the Day is our chance to muse on one big story in the news each day, using it as a spring board to explore other topics, sometimes even outside of the Transport Evolved universe. Every weekday, Nikki and Mark will take it in turns to explore a story that catches our eye, developing a back and forth conversation between Transport Evolved’s two regular hosts.

As with our Quick Charge series, our Thought of the Day will be recorded very simply on a single smartphone, but then quickly edited together using the jump cut edit style popular with many YouTube vlogs. We think this style complements our other shows and offers us a different way to share our thoughts with you, our readers and viewers.

Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Amazing numbers $$$$$ Nikki. The USA must have similar figures.nI am personally being drawn to a plug in hybread. Just this last week my last 2 Clients I visited were just around 220 miles round trip highway miles with not 1 charging station near by and even if there was I would have to stop every 60 miles or so to rapid charge and that’s not good for my batteries. So I had to drive my monster truck (15 MPGS) 440 miles. I hated it..nThe Volt is looking more interesting to me for those reasons. I have 1 more year left on my leased LEAF so I still have so time to “wait and see”.. nI hope you read this. I know how busy you and Mark are.. n
