Discovery Workshops Allow Potential UK Buyers to See Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

Potential UK buyers will be able to get up close and personal with the Mitsubishi Outlander plug-in hybrid at Discovery Workshops happening across the UK on the weekend of 7 and 8 June.

The family SUV vehicle is the only plug-in currently on the market in its class. It can be operated in four wheel drive mode and can get up to 32.5 miles in pure electric mode. It is also the only plug-in hybrid to come with rapid charging too, meaning it can use CHAdeMO rapid charging stations to top up its 12kWh battery pack quickly when needed.

If you're in the UK, why not pop along to see the new Outlander PHEV?

Lance Bradley, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: “We’re all delighted to see the Outlander PHEV arrive in the showrooms. The Outlander PHEV is the first SUV plug-in hybrid in the UK market that boasts 4WD capability with an EV range of 32.5 miles and emissions as low as 44 g/km. It’s truly a game-changer.”

The Discovery Workshops will allow people to arrange test drives, see the car in person, have various aspects explained (charging at home and out and about, the plug-in vehicle grant) and even see the mobile phone app in action.

As we reported in April, the Outlander plug-in hybrid is priced at the same level as the diesel version of the car making it very much an option to anyone looking for a more fuel efficient car.

There's plenty of space in the Outlander PHEV for luggage.

If you would like to attend a Discovery Workshop, you can find a list of dealers on the Mitsubishi website.

Transport Evolved will have a Outlander Plug-in Hybrid on loan in the coming months to review. If you have any questions you want answering let us know and we’ll try to answer them for you.
