A sold-out event drawing 30,000 people each day, the London e-Prix was a fitting end to the inaugural year of the first FIA championship devoted entirely to single-seat electric cars, showing newcomers and hardened motorsports fans alike that electric car racing can be fun, competitive and environmentally conscious, too.

As the race was in London and Transport Evolved has an office in Bristol, UK, we were lucky enough to get to the event ourselves, along with our intrepid professional photographer Adam Walker. Donning his brightly-coloured media tabard Adam was able to stalk out some of the best spots on the 1.82-mile course to capture the race action as it happened. Between practice, qualifying and race, he was also able to meander through the pits, capturing some of Formula E’s biggest names in some stunning candid shots.

Today, after hours of perusing the thousands of images taken, we’ve saved you the best from both days, putting them in one massive, 225-strong photo mega-gallery.

So if you happened to miss the event, sit back and enjoy as these photographs bring it all back photograph-by-photograph in glorious high-resolution.
