    There doesn’t seem to be a lot of difference in EV efficiency between new cars. The Tesla3 is 14.7 kWh/100km and the Bolt is 15.7, less than 10%. Is this a noticeable difference? More importantly, is it a saleable difference? I don’t think so.
    Probably real world experience will be more important. Frankly, efficiency in the HVAC system will make more difference as will the aerodynamics. You can drive the difference if you care.

    We are pleasantly surprised with how easy it is to exceed the Transport Canada range (same as EPA) with our Bolt even though we drive 10kph over the limit and use the AC as needed. Just like a real car…
