We’re often told that since electric vehicles have far less moving parts than a comparable internal combustion-engined vehicle, they have far lower service costs too. This leads many to even question if electric vehicles need servicing at all. After all, if there’s very little for a garage to do to your car, then why pay them large sums of money to keep your car on the road?

But are there real reasons you should get your electric car regularly serviced by a dealership or garage? And just what does need regular attention?
