Not so long ago, Porsche, like so many other automakers out there, was dismissive of plug-in vehicle technology, questioning if it was even good enough for use in its high-performance cars.

That’s very different from today. With its first production electric car — the 2020 Porsche Taycan — heading to production in the next year, Porsche now seems to be drinking the EV Kool Aid.
