In recent years, electric cars have managed to make some significant inroads into several different market segments.
Tesla dominates the premium segment, outselling internal combustion engine competition. Cars like the Nissan LEAF, Hyundai KONA Electric and Chevrolet Bolt EV have begun to tackle the daily-driver segment.
But to date, no plug-in car has successfully managed to make an impact in the muscle car world. That is, until Chevrolet’s latest concept car — the Chevy e-COPO Camaro — made an appearance at SEMA last week. And it got us thinking. Does it have what it takes to change hearts and minds on the drag strip?
