One of the challenges when it comes to making a vehicle sustainable is ensuring that it has as long a life as possible after it has rolled off the production line.
This usually focuses on ensuring the car has parts and spares to keep it running long into its second decade, and that its owner does everything they can to keep the car in good condition.
But in London, England, there’s a company called London Electric Cars that’s going well beyond that. It’s turning classic cars into electric vehicles that are good to let for many more years, are affordable — and make use of recycled battery packs.
