Why 2019 Might Be Revolutionary For Electric Motorcycles

If we’re honest, 2018 was a pretty good year for electric cars, helped by massive Tesla Model 3 sales, the launch of several new long-range models, and a wider market share at the end of the year for EVs than they had at the start of it.

And this year, thanks to massive improvements in battery and motor technology, we think it’s the turn of two-wheeled vehicles. Specifically, electric motorbikes.  While there have been plenty of good motorcycles to date, this year promises not one but two next-generation models (from Zero and Lightning respectively), plus gearing up from mainstream motorcycle companies to build their own plug-in bikes.

Here’s why we think 2019 is going to be a year that motorcycle fans won’t want to miss.
