Tesla Changes Its Policy On Stores, Increases Pricing For Everything Except Model 3 Standard Range. Why?

Less than two weeks after it announced it would be closing the majority of its retail locations, Tesla has made a blog post revisiting that decision. (https://www.tesla.com/blog/update-Tesla-stores-and-pricing)

Instead of closing all its stores, it now plans to keep some open, while simultaneously increasing prices on all but the entry-level Tesla Model 3 Standard Range.
