BMW Unveils The 2020 MINI Cooper SE Electric Hatch: Will It Sell?

Back in 2008, BMW announced its MINI E prototype test fleet program. Since that program ended — and was replaced by the BMW Active E test fleet (and then BMW i3 production), many MINI fans and plug-in fans alike have asked BMW to produce an electric MINI model.

Today, BMW unveiled the Cooper SE electric hatch – the first ever production MINI model to come with a 100% electric drivetrain.
